Ulu Yam camp

Finally back from another unexpected camp.
This time it was held in Ulu Yam... But i have
to say that this camp is in my top 5 camping
spot list... Although the scenery is not tat
fabulous, but the activities are AWESOME!!!!

Among the activities, my favourite is the
morning jungle tracking, blind man trip,
and the night walk.... in the forest..

heheheheh

For the morning jungle tracking, we were
taken to the forest beside our camp site..
It was quite a long walk but overall fun
and exciting....

We were briefed first then we started
our journey.. We were also taught different
kind of survival skills in the forest, so
its kinda cool to learn all this stuff.

Halfway back to the campsite, we have
to pass by 2 mud pools.. One knee deep,
another breast deep.. hehehe this part is
my favourite part.. We all screamed on
our way down.. You should see our faces

Those who know me, i love to be dirty,
lagi kotor lagi bagus.. anyway, how
many times in your life you get a chance
to dip in a mud pool?!
so is no new business to know that i love
that kind of activitiy... =P

As for the blind man trip, we were all
blind folded except for the leader.. Then
we were all leaded by our leader.. We
were brought to god-knows-where and
we ended up in the big river...

My also favourite activity, the night walk
in the forest. We were briefed about our
safety by a facilitator named 'Atok'...
A cute guy as well.. hahaha

After the briefing, after saying our
prayers, we were brought in
hand-in-hand to the forest.. A different
path from the morning jungle tracking...

When we reached a flat surface halfway,
we were told to sit and 'bertakafur' for
10 mins... I 'bertakafur' for 6 mins then
doze off for 4 mins... Sorry la, i was too sleepy

Then we were requested to go down
the hill ONE BY ONE.... all of us freaked
out... So 'Atok' gave us a bonus saying
we can go back by group as long as we
promised to change into a new leaf...

So we went back by groups ourselves and
all of us made it down... *thank god

Sincerely talking i was so freaked out i was
meditating the whole time.. only
difference is i was walking instead of sitting
cross legged... ehehehehhe.

But i try to challenge myself to go down the
hill by myself next time... Come to think
bout it, its still scary.....

Overall i love this camp ( I have high
expectations ) and i'm gald to say

i found a new place to camp next time

The activities are great and challenging,
we get to be prepared physically and
mentally, and we also learn alot
during this camp....

Plus, those morning exercise
are really cute and nice to dance..
Maxine love it!!!

I really would like to go back again
if given a second chance for a more
exciting and challenging activities...

I didn't take much pictures as camera
is not allow practically EVERYWHERE
we go... so hehehe this is the only
picture i manage to capture....

This is one of the activities given, we
were asked to build something from
using what the nature has to give us, so
this is the outcome~~~~

With a little manok here, seraya there
and tada!!!! (in the pic clockwise-
Quet Peng, Maxine, Mei Xin)
