At the end of the session, I was more confident to myself then before. I enjoyed this session a lot and i hope that for the next session, i could do more challenging acts. Many thanks to the Delta Rovers team and thanks for all who helped me through this session!!!! I am looking forward to the next session!!!

Crazy but amazing day

Today was a crazy yet fun day!!!! Norma had invited me to join a delta rover course to learn about all kinds of outdoor activities such as abseiling, which we did today, rock climbing, paint gun and many more. Today the activity was held in Midvalley convention center. I reached there around 9.40pm, then when i walked in Midvalley, then u heard.... MAXINE!!!!!!! i was thinking, who was calling me so loudly.... then i saw Pn Elsie and Michealle over there waving at me... My whole expression was like,"Oh my god!!! " then we started to talk and joke as usual, as we walk to the convention center, we took all kinds of pictures as the chirstmas decorations are still intact, then we went to the highest floor, where the convention center is. Then we met Am. Well actually we didn't met Am, Am met us, i was walking and looking at the convention center sign board then i heard a male voice calling me, Maxine!! i turned around there he was standing right beside me. I was shocked but later recovered. As Norma didn't show up yet, we decided to take some photoes around Midvalley. We got this idea of lying at the center of the stage and pretend to make snow angles, then Pn Elsie will be taking it from the highest floor. The first few pictures were fine, then suddenly the guard came looking at us thinking we are crazy kids doing crazy stuff!!! So we ran back to the highest floor to meet up with Pn Elsie again. But we didn't stop just there, we even took pictures from all kinds of angles, can said is 360 degres. Kinda fun though, we even pose like those statues at the display corner and took pictures. Crazy isn't it??
Then we head back upstairs to the convention center, registerd and went in. Pn Elsie looked at some shoes first, then Michealle and i went to the rock climbing section to try it out. Michealle went first but she got stuck halfway, so al last she gave up. Thne it was my turn.... i was faster then Michealle, not to say i am boasting but i got stuck halfway as well. So in the end we both gave up. Then we went to the arhcary section, i try it out but still didn't get the hang of it. We even got the chance to take photo with Dato' Azlina. haha our luck i guess!! Then our course started. Our instructor was Encik Hussien. He started of with the introduction of Delta Rovers. Then he move on to the the basic introduction of gadgets. they are many kinds. All together 100 kinds according to him. The gadget introduce to us were, figure of eight, half and full body harnus, casobena, and kinds of ropes. It was fun, he though us about safety then we move on to the first activity, abseiling. There are three different methods of abseiling. The first one is the normal way, your body up and ur butt down, the second way was the whole body upside down, then the third method, spider method. We all try the first method and we all pass. The second method was a little difficult. we had to turn ourself up side dwon and adjust the ropes when you are still dangling up there. But before we do the real thing, We practise it at the bottom. Encik Hussien will first ask you to stand on a chair, then he will ask you to turn yourself upside down. Creepy at first, but you will soon get the hang of it. Then i tried the real thing, the first try i didn't have enough confident to go upside down, but instead i tried it halfway through it. Then it was the real thing. I was really scare!! There were many pairs of eyes staring at me. I was shaking and sweating at the same time. Then Norma, Am, Michealle, Pn Elsie and Encik Hussien started to call but i didn'y want to go down. It was really creepy, no kidding, then i tired, and u succeed but still i was shouting and when my legs touch the ground, i was crawling towards Pn Elsie with the body still shaking. But before i went, Norma had a go first. She of course practised it on the chair first. When Encik Hussien turn her upside down, We started singing sexy back!!! You wanna know why? Because ehr whole back was showing. We laugh till we vried but of course gave her moral support by giving one of our girl guides cheer, Erm, how did it go again?
Ah clap clap, norma!! clap clap, Norma!! nonononononono,nonononononono, Norma!!!! But it ws crazy!! People were rushing over to see us. It was a really funny sight. (Norma, if u are reading this please forgive me la!!! Sorry ah!!) Then it was Michealle turn to go but she failed, she cannot turn herself upside down. But we still gave her Moral support, by giving her our famous cheer, again!!! After everyone had finish, then we move on to paintball shooting!!! Wow!! that really show of everyone's anger. I even broke a bottle!!! And norma's friends even wanted to continue to shoot even the bullets were finish!! haha!!! After that we all headed home!!!! That all!!!

PMR results~~~~~~~~

I am so sad!!!!!! Yesterday i went to my school to collect my results. i went together with hui xia, my big prawny. We reach my school early, around 9.30am. No one was there, so we sat down and talk. We talk all kinds of stuff even gossips... heh.... is normal for girls this age to gossip!!! Even aunties alos gossip!!! Anyway, when it was time to take the results, my body was shaking, seriously! I was sweating cold sweat and my heart was pumping hundred times faster then the usual pump!!!!! 'Please God make it a good results, please!!!' i didn't dare to go near the line, i was really really scare, so was my other friends. But at last i still got into the line to take my results....... my heart was pumping two hundred times faster, i was sweating till my school uniform were wet........ i was really scare!!!!! When it was my turn to take the results... i didn't dare to go near the table, my friends had to push me in order to take my rresults.... when my teacher look at me, she gave a wide and evil smile!!! yeesh!!!! That made me more nervous then before!!!! When she handed me the result sheet, my hands were still trembling, when i took the result sheet, i took a deep breath, then i look at the results.... I started to cry.. I ran to the back of the hall and hui xia followed me, wondering why am i crying..... i was crying my head out!! I am confused whether i cried because i am happy or i am sad.... i was really confused. I called my dad first, he said he was proud of me as i did better then him. I then cried even louder. Same goes with my mum. So after that whole scene.... Hui Xia and i headed to Times square to have a quiet walk to cool down myself. We had Ice Kacang as well. By then, i was cleared from the whole suspense and was kinda enjoying myself. Then we headed to the girl guides hq. When we reached there, the door was locked!!!! Oh my god!!!! i shouted!!! We came here for nothing
!!! what is this????? So we headed back to Times Square and we walked to the Pudu lst Station to save some cash. We bumped into my friend, we chatted until 6pm then we headed home our own way...... sad isn't it??? Want to know my results?? hehheh!!! no need i think you can guess!!! seeya!!!

The big day........

Supirisingly, my mind is calm and cool and totally clear from what ever worries i have, but my heart is pounding like i have ran hundred of miles and miles..... i am scare, but in the same time i am calm. i do not know this kind of feeling but i am sure is somwthing i have to worry about. It is true, i do have something to worry about. But it is common among young adults who have finish their PMR as their common advice,"Aiya, not to worry la!!! pasti can dapat full A wan!! kacang putih only!!!!" But i have a bad feeling that i might get a bad result in this PMR. And usually my insticnts are realiable. So i am really scare to my wits now!!! Hope that moment can pass as fast as possible....... Anyway, today after our work at the girl guides headquarter, we headed off to Pavilion as some of my friends haven't been there before. As i have only been there with my parents, i do not know how to go there myself. So i decided to learn how to get there by the usual way.... public transport. But it was quite easy to get there, the problem was when we get there, we kinda got lost in the shopping mall itself. So i was quite embressing as i was leading them around the Shopping mall. So we walk around, and finally we found our way back to the main entrance. Then we slowly recap waht we walk pass then we slowly got familerize with the area. Then we stopped by for some quick snack then we headed home by the usual.... public transport.... haha

funny day

Today, my friends so call the 'gang' as usual we met at the headquarters of girl guides association to do some settling with the camps for the next camp. We were busy as usual and we had fun as well. Norma came to help out. well actually she instructed and we just follow her 'instructions' (Don't be mad!!) We had to settle at least around 10 to 15 camps which was tiring.

We reach the building around 8.30am. We started to move all te camps out of the bakp room. and the worst part was getting dirty after doing that!!. so we settle the camps by making sure that all the camps have enough 'pacak', poles and strings to set up the camp. We have to air it as well. Then suddenly Norma went out. then i was thinking, " Alamak, i am starving here, you pulak going out for breakfast?? apa ni??" Who knows she came back with a big plastic of roti canai!! haha. sorry sorry... how was i suppose to know?? But when she came back, the funny thing is we didn eat it! instead we continue our work in settling the camps. Norma had to blackmail us in order for us to go and eat. She balckmailed once but didn't succeed our butts were still sticking at the floor, blackmailed the second time.... we all only started to move. Aiya... i wonder did she do that with her test during school days...... nah just joking. Anyway, during out breakfast, we joked and laugh, normal la as Norma was around. After that we settled another pile of 'deserted' camps and put it in the stor. Swept up the hall, and we prepared to go for lunch. Oh ya, we saw the long earring that norma was wearing and we had a nickname for it, u guess it.... pacak.... haha. We headed to Mcdonalds at the KL Central. Norma and the gang drove a car there as we YOUNG GUIDES walk proudly towards KL Central. But unfortunately, we got lost on the way and we ended up calling Pn Elsie, michealle's mom more then 3 times. But i felt lucky that we walked, at least i know how to go to KL Central from the hq. We sat and ate as much as we could........ no la..... we ate very little only actually, only Norma and the gang order a big order... As Pn Elsie is buying..... so they decided to take "advantage" of the oppotunity. Haha. Our Kids table, we only ended up with a large cup of coke, a large fries, one apple pie and one banana pie, that's all. We like saving, that's why.......... something's wrong with this sentence..... any way, we joke and laugh.... as usual.... and our dicussion topic is quite extraordinary.... For someone, or somebody...... Don't ask, you won't want to know. So after lunch we walk around KL Central as there are some shops there. And the first shop we went in was..........Clothes.... Anyway as we don't want to see any clothes especially me as i know they DO NOT have my size, we just talk and chat around the shop. We even took photos and video in the shop, i realize there were many pairs of eyes staring at us.... crazy.......... so after that we all head home............ that all....... wait till next time if you want more...... seeya!!!!

The Best interact Conference

Last month i went to an interact conference. this was the first time going to an interact conference as i just join the club. I went there along with my Secretary and a few rotaracters. We started our journey exactly around 10pm. We stopped halfway for breakfast. We had a big plate of chicken rice. Then we continue our journey there. At first i though the roteracters were fierce and mean (sorry if you are reading this...) but along the way we found out that they had saome good jokes and we laugh all the way till lunch time where we drop by at Slim river to have a break. I t was told that Slim River was Famous for its claypot steam fish. So we Decided to try it out. And oh my, my stomoch was bloated after that lunch. We headed back to our car, all full and statisfiate. And guess what?? We slept like a pig after the lunch. You could guess how much calories we put on after that. Haha just joking. Anyway after a few hours, we came aross an emergency stop pit. There were selling fruits as the fruit over there were very fresh. We had ciku, pink jambu and u guess....... that's right!!!!! Durian!!!!! Tasty!!!! We continue out journey. When we reach the Pinang bridge, it was jam like hell!!! we were moving one minute one centimeters. Serious! i am not joking!!! But we got through it after an hour and we finally reached the Uiversity Sains Malaysia. But another problem occur when we reach USM. It was so big until we got lost where to go. we ask thie guy and that women all passer by but no success. Then someone suggested that we ask the guard on duty. At last we found our way. Haha!! We got up, tired but happy as out butt sore after a six hour drive. We registerd and Got into our assigned rooms. About half an hout of washing up. we gathered at the hall just a few metres where we stay to have dinner. the first day was really horrible. All i wish was to go back home and take a hot bath and relax my mind. After dinner, we had indoor games, follow the leader, i had to say it was a boring game for our group, i don't know why but i intent to feel boring till when Calvin came entertained us. After that tiring game, we all head back our dorm rooms to have a good night sleep. When i woke up the next day, i thought it was going to be a total disaster. But it turn out to be fun!!!! At the beginning of the day was kinda boring as it was all lecture, but some of the lecture was really good, full of aspiration!! Then we had groups discussion on that night's performance and could you belive it?? i was assigned to be a Grandma!!! aiya!! am i that old looking??? Anyway, after the group discussion we had an opening ceremony. after that we had lunch and we head back to our dorm to get ready for our dinner time. During dinner time, we had already know each other well enough to joke with each other. Then it was performance time. There were all kinds of performance but all was advertisement stuff. You name it, astro, carrefour sales, nike, pepsi, football, and many more. Our group did the stremayx add. It was fun and crazy at the same time. all of us are enjoying ourself. After that we head back to our dorm room to end the day. But because it was the last day, somw of us didn sleep till it was late night. I was at another friends dorm playing cards and having snacks at the same time. We played untill 2 am then only we slept in our own dorms. Next morning it was the last day we spent together. We didn want to leave each other as we know each other very well that time and we were starting to get crazy. After breakfast, we sat down for a talk and closing ceremony. after that we took pictures of each other and exchange emails and numbers or so. We had fun and we really hope to see each other agian. sad... TT.TT

My Busy but fun life!!!!

I have been trying so hard to impress myself all this days by doing all kinds of stupid stuff!!! But al least there are friends who gave trust in me to start all over. This whole week i have been in so call my 'second' home, that is the headquarters of the girl guides association. We have been rushing like hell to complete our tali perkeliling before the school reopens. We were doing all kinds of folio. For example, cooking, house chores, babysitting and can you belive it?
I even practise waking up early! But sometimes i was just lazy to wake up. I know what i mean. You tell me which teenager DO NOT LIKE i repeat DO NOT LIKE SLEEPING?? haha every teenager likes to sleep late right? Anyway, i was at the Headquaters with my gang as usual, Prawnie, Ying Ying, my husband (Ai Ping) and myself were there. We were there to complete our folio as usual and busy ..... as usual. But we had fun along the way. We joke with each other, we play with each other, and even try to get as crazy as possible!!!! we shake and dance and my husband didn even had any courage to look at us. But sometimes she even join in the fun. She was there to do her cooking test and we all got her back!!! so we can all pass sucessfully for the tali perkeliling. It was really a fun time and i can tell you. i was lucky to join girl guides, I was lucky to be part of the gang. I was lucky to be their friend. And most important, i was lucky to have them as my friend, to back me up when i need help and to laugh at my jokes (although they were not very good...) haha. But i am really lucky to have all of them right beside me. Thanks you guys!!! i love you all!!!!! Muaksssss
